A DC-DC charger lets your vehicle's alternator properly charge your house battery bank while you drive — a must-have for any modern RV, camper van, overland rig, or boat with a separate starter and service battery. Unlike a simple voltage-sensing relay, the Victron Orion family uses adaptive three-stage charging (bulk, absorption, float), making it safe for lithium house banks and far more effective at fully charging AGM, gel, and lead-acid batteries.

We carry the Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A (360W) — the workhorse for most van and RV builds — and the high-output Orion XS range. Both have Bluetooth for monitoring and configuration via the VictronConnect app, plus engine-running detection that automatically stops drawing when your engine is off. Suitable for 12V, 24V, and 48V systems and compatible with all lithium and lead-acid chemistries.
