Node-RED Programming

Jonsson Tech offers custom Node-RED programming to extend what your Victron system can do beyond its stock configuration.

Node-RED is a flow-based programming tool that runs directly on Victron's Cerbo GX and other GX devices, letting us build logic tailored to your specific setup — without waiting on a manufacturer feature release.

What we build:

• Custom automation logic — Generator start/stop, load shedding, and charge/discharge behavior tailored beyond Victron's stock settings.
• Third-party device integration — Bringing non-Victron equipment — sensors, relays, other brands — into your system via Node-RED and MQTT.
• Custom dashboards & alerts — Purpose-built monitoring views and notifications so you see exactly what matters for your system.

This is a natural fit for microgrid installations, where custom control logic often makes the difference between a system that just runs and one that runs exactly the way you need it to.
