The Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-MC4 is the flagship solar charge controller in the Victron lineup — a string-inverter-class MPPT designed for large residential and commercial off-grid installations. 200A of charge current, 450V max PV input, and two independent MPPT trackers, allowing you to run two separate panel strings with different orientations or wattages on a single controller. 48V battery only. MC4 PV connectors pre-installed.
This is not a small-system MPPT — it's a serious piece of off-grid infrastructure designed to pair with Victron MultiPlus-II or Quattro inverter/chargers for whole-home or whole-business off-grid systems.
