Victron SmartShunt 1000A/50mV Battery Monitor — Bluetooth, 6.5–70V (No Display)

The Victron SmartShunt 1000A is the mid-to-large battery monitor for serious systems — sized for 24V and 48V banks with high-current inverters, big solar arrays, or large lithium house banks where peak current can exceed 500A. Same Victron measurement firmware as the 500A version, with double the current capacity. Works on any 12V, 24V, or 48V system between 6.5V and 70V.

No display — your phone is the screen via Bluetooth and the free VictronConnect app. Real-time state-of-charge, voltage, current, power, time-remaining, and 30 days of historical trend data.

When to choose the 1000A shunt

• 24V systems with 3000W+ inverters — a MultiPlus 24/3000 draws ~155A continuous and ~310A surge. Add solar and DC loads and you'll push past 500A regularly.
• 48V systems with 3000–5000W inverters — moderate current at 48V, but high enough that the 1000A gives proper headroom.
• Larger lithium house banks — 400–600Ah LiFePO4 banks that can dish out big current during peak loads.
• RV / Marine with all-electric galley — induction cooktops, microwaves, electric water heaters all running together.
• Mid-size off-grid cabin — typical 24V cabin with 3kW inverter and 600W+ of solar.
