The Victron Orion IP67 24/12-100A is a waterproof, sealed DC-DC step-down converter — takes 24V input from a heavy-duty truck, larger marine engine, or commercial chassis and delivers 100A at 12V (1200W) for powering 12V equipment. The fully-sealed IP67 enclosure means this can mount in engine rooms, under-chassis locations, marine bilges, or any environment standard electronics can't survive.
Important: This is a CONVERTER, not a CHARGER. It provides constant-voltage 12V to power 12V loads (lighting, refrigeration, electronics, pumps, ECUs). For charging a 12V house battery from a 24V alternator (with proper 3-stage adaptive charging), see the Orion XS 1400 (24/12-50A).
