The Victron Orion IP67 12/24-50A is a waterproof, sealed DC-DC step-up converter — takes 12V input from a vehicle or marine system and provides 50A at 24V (1200W) for powering 24V equipment. The fully-sealed IP67 enclosure means this can mount in engine rooms, exposed underhood locations, marine bilges, or any environment where standard electronics would fail.
Important: This is a CONVERTER, not a CHARGER. The Orion IP67 series provides constant-voltage output to power 24V loads (radios, lighting, electronics, pumps, refrigeration). For charging a 24V battery bank from a 12V alternator, you want the Orion-Tr Smart 12/24 series (with adaptive 3-stage charging).
