The Victron Orion 24/12-25A IP20 is the mid-range indoor DC-DC step-down converter — 25A of 12V output (300W) from a 24V input source. IP20 enclosure for indoor or protected mounting (vehicle cab, marine cabin, electrical compartment). For wet or harsh environments, see the IP67 series.
Important: This is a CONVERTER, not a CHARGER. Constant 12V output to power 12V loads; not designed to charge a 12V battery from 24V.

Wet location? IP20 vs IP67
The IP20 rating means this unit is for indoor or protected mounting only — it's not splash-resistant. For engine room, bilge, exterior chassis, or any location that might see water, salt spray, or heavy dust, choose the Orion IP67 equivalent instead. Same internal hardware, sealed enclosure, slightly higher cost.
