The Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V is the go-to 12V inverter/charger for RVs, vans, boats, and off-grid cabins — 3000VA of pure sine wave output, a powerful 120A multi-stage battery charger, and a 50A transfer switch in one unit. It combines the features of the MultiPlus and MultiGrid lines, with an external current transformer option for PowerControl/PowerAssist with external current sensing (max. 32A) and built-in anti-islanding.
Key features
- PowerAssist — prevents overload of a limited AC source such as a generator or shore power connection by adding inverter power when loads peak.
- Uninterrupted power — if grid, shore, or generator power fails, the inverter takes over the connected loads within 20 milliseconds.
- Scalable — up to 6 units in parallel for higher output; three units can be configured for three-phase output.
- VE.Bus — integrates with Cerbo GX for full remote monitoring via Victron VRM.
- 120A adaptive charger — charges lithium (LiFePO4), AGM, gel, and flooded banks with configurable charge profiles via VictronConnect.

This 5 star review is more for the guys at Jonsson Tech than the inverter. This particular inverter is 230v output which is not correct for my van / rv here in the USA.
Kasey, thank you for flagging this and for still giving us 5 stars — that means a lot. You're absolutely right that the 230V version isn't the right fit for US van and RV applications (US systems need 120V output). We've updated the product listing to make the output voltage more prominent so future customers don't make the same mix-up. If you're still looking for the right unit for your build, give us a call at (346) 574-9652 — we'll make sure you get exactly the right spec this time.
