The Victron Autotransformer 120/240V-100A is the high-current version of the 120/240V autotransformer — 100A per 120V leg (24kVA total split-phase capacity). Sized for whole-home applications, large RVs with 50A service, and commercial backup installs where you need split-phase output from a single-phase inverter source.
What it does
Same functions as the 32A model, but at 3× the capacity:
- Splits 120V to 120/240V — whole-home capable
- Balances split-phase loads — 100A per leg means no leg overload
- Boost or buck 120V — ±10% voltage adjustment
- Use with parallel MultiPlus — enables 2× MultiPlus 12/3000 parallel to feed a 50A split-phase load
When you need 100A
- Whole-home backup — entire residential 100A service from a single-phase inverter
- Large 50A RV — distribute full 50A shore between both 120V legs
- Commercial backup — office or retail with 100A service
- Off-grid home with electric heat or AC — 240V heat pump or central AC
