Will this overload my alternator?

No — the Orion XS lets you set a maximum charge current, and the guide walks you through keeping it at a safe level relative to your alternator's rated output.

What if my fifth wheel's 7-way connector already has a charge line?

Most 7-way circuits are limited to roughly 15A, well under what the Orion XS can deliver. The Fifth Wheel kit uses a dedicated Anderson SB50 connector instead, so you get the charger's full rated output.

Can I upgrade to a higher-amperage or 24V charger later?

Yes — the Orion XS 12/12-70A and the dual-voltage Orion XS 1400 are available as add-ons at checkout or as a later upgrade.
